Ford engineers first noticed the intake valve issue during a routine quality check, long before it became public.

Ford recall covers 90,000 vehicles, it surprisingly affects a wide range of production dates, from 2021 to 2023 models.

The faulty intake valves can cause significant engine performance drops, sometimes leading to unexpected stalls during high-speed driving.

Ford issued a strict warning against DIY fixes, as tampering with the intake valve can void warranties and potentially worsen the problem.

In addition to replacing the valves, Ford is rolling out a software update to optimize engine performance and prevent future issues.

The recall isn't limited to the U.S.; it's a global effort, affecting vehicles in multiple countries, including Canada and Mexico.
