Next-Generation BMW X5 New Price we do know about

The current BMW X5 has been available since 2019, and the SUV will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2025.

The new X5 will have BMW's most recent stylistic cues—previewed by the Neue Klasse X concept—along with a variety of powertrain options, including an EV.

BMW will undoubtedly continue to use the X5 brand for the next generation car. What is likely to change are the trim-specific designations.

The next-generation BMW X5 will be styled after the Neue Klasse X concept, which debuted earlier this year.

The new BMW X5 appears to go on sale in the 2027 model year, with production starting in August 2026.

Today's starting price for the base 2025 BMW X5 sDrive40i is $66,875 (all figures include the $1,175 destination charge).

If you ignore the powerful X5 M, the range tops out at the X5 M60i. The M60i costs $91,175, and we expect the next-generation X5 to have a comparable pricing differential.

The updated X5 isn't scheduled to go on sale for another few years, so prices may rise in the interim.

The present BMW X5M Competition starts at more than $120,000, and it may not be the only X5 model priced in the six figures when the next one arrives.
