VW Made a Bizarre Truck From a Sedan and an SUV

This car, known simply as the "Pickup Truck," is a one-of-a-kind design. They designed the vehicle by combining the VW Taigun SUV and the VW Virtus sedan.

The mechatronics students assembled the truck, which included an extra-long back overhang.Did you know that Volkswagen offers more than simply the Amarok pickup?

There is also another version known as the Saveiro in Latin America. So this pickup vehicle was manufactured in India by Skoda Auto Volkswagen India.

So, this initiative was part of the Student Car initiative and received some funding from the "Skill India" program. Students worked with the Skoda and Volkswagen teams in India.

To save money, the vehicle repurposed many pieces from other products. The plan was based on the Taigun crossover and the Virtus sedan. We 3D-printed some additional components to go with the borrowed ones.

Students went ahead and added a snorkel, fender flares, and plastic body covering to give it a tough appearance. The Pickup Truck sits higher thanks to a suspension upgrade and features an LED light strip on the roof for added flair.

It features some really cool body graphics and has these chunky tires on wheels that look like beadlocks

The back overhang is undoubtedly a disadvantage because it was not designed to be a pickup truck. These students have been busy! Last year, they also developed a four-door convertible.
