2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid's Base Price Rises $5K to $47,470

Toyota has discontinued the Highlander Hybrid's least LE trim, which originally cost $42,420.

Now, the XLE has become the hybrid's starting point, but its $47,470 base price is over $5000 more than previously.

The non-hybrid Toyota Highlander is the only option available to those seeking the lowest possible price. That remains the LE trim, which now has a starting price of $40,970 for 2025.

While the sporty XSE and top-of-the-line Platinum do see a large price increase, it, the XLE ($44,120), and the Limited ($48,225) do not.

The Highlander Hybrid features a smaller range of trim choices. Along with the mentioned XLE, the Limited and Platinum are now priced at $51,925 and $55,125, respectively.

These costs are $2250 more than those of their 2024 equivalents, however the main reason for this is that front-wheel drive is no longer the default setup. Today, all-wheel drive is standard on all gas-electric Highlanders.

the XSE will come standard with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, all hybrid vehicles will sport Toyota's "Beyond Zero" logo, and two new paint colors will be available for the 2025 model year: Heavy Metal and Cement

The hybrid-powered Limited is the basis for the anniversary edition of the Highlander, which has increased services and color options along with unique badging on the outside in celebration of the vehicle's 25 years of existence.
