2025 Ford Expedition Shows Its Face Ahead Of October Debut

Ford has shown its first teaser image of the 2025 Expedition, ahead of its unveiling on October 3.

The teaser image reveals that the full-size SUV would have an all-new front fascia with a broad grille wrapped by a narrow lighted strip.

The rest of the design is quite familiar, as it is mostly derived from the Navigator. This includes rounded wheel arches, a noticeable character line, and an unusual twist in the beltline.

The upper three-quarters raise like a regular liftgate, while the bottom lowers like a standard tailgate.

The vehicle will follow in the footsteps of the Lincoln Navigator, with a dramatic new look and a split gate.

There are vertical air vents and a series of tactile buttons under the infotainment system. The vehicle also has a wide middle console and contrast stitching on the Tremor variation.

While the Ford Navigator is only powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with 440 horsepower (328 kW / 446 PS) and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque,

The entry-level models have 380 hp (283 kW / 385 PS) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque, whereas the Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum have 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS) and 480 lb-ft (650 Nm).
