Performers at the Olympic Opening Ceremony  

There were various performances at the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony. Here is a look at music musicians who lit up the stage and greeted the largest athletic event.

Lady Gaga 

She was the first singer to perform at the opening ceremony. She sang the French song 'Mon Truc en Plumes'.  

Aya Nakamura 

Aya Nakamura, a French-Malian singer, performed her biggest singles 'Pookie' and 'Djadja' with choristers from the French Army and French Republican Guard orchestras.

The singer performed for the first time since her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis. She ended the ceremony with 'Hymn á l'amour'.  

Celine Dion 

Other French musicians 

Other French musicians, such as heavy metal band Gojira and opera vocalist Marina Viotti, had standout performances at the opening ceremony.  

The ceremony featured a magnificent light show during Dion's performance, which added to the excitement despite the rain.
