2025 Nissan Versa Sees $1k Price Hike

Nissan has disclosed pricing for the 2025 Nissan Versa, which is basically unchanged from its predecessor.

The subcompact sedan has received a huge price rise, starting at $17,190, up $1,060 from the 2024 model

With this price increase, the 2025 Versa loses its position as America's cheapest new car.

The Versa remains the cheapest available sedan, with a $605 price advantage over the 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage G4.

Nissan justified the increased expense by adopting LED headlights as standard equipment on the entry-level S and mid-spec SV models.

The Nissan Maintenance Care program has been combined, with up to three prepaid oil changes available for two years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Every trim level of the Nissan Versa is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 22 horsepower (91 kW/124 PS) and 114 lb-ft (154 Nm) of torque, guaranteeing a combined fuel economy rating of up to 35 mpg.

Nissan boasts that it has three models with beginning MSRPs under $22,000—the Versa, Sentra, and Kicks—as well as three more priced under $30,000—the Altima, Leaf, and Rogue.
